Campsite with heated pool in the Puy-de-Dôme

At the heart of the Auvergne volcanoes, our campsite in Aydat has anoutdoor heated pool, exclusively reserved for campers. Open from June to September, it welcomes you every day from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. to relax after a hike or enjoy a family swim. Its 91 m² pool, fully renovated in 2023, is surrounded by loungers and parasols.

During heatwaves, the pool just a few meters from your rental or pitch is one of the many assets that make holidays more enjoyable during hot spells.


For children and babies: Remember to bring swim diapers for babies and arm bands for little ones who cannot swim. If needed, arm bands and swimsuits are available for purchase at the reception.


For men: plan a swimsuit reserved for swimming; shorts are not allowed for hygiene reasons.


Good to know:  the pool may close temporarily in case of unfavorable weather conditions or weather alerts in Puy de Dôme.  Exceptional closures may also occur based on water analysis results for safety and hygiene measures for everyone's well-being.

Is the campsite pool heated?

Yes, our campsite in Aydat has an outdoor pool heated to at least 27°C. It allows you to enjoy swimming pleasantly during its opening period, even when temperatures are cooler in Auvergne.
Good to know: The pool is heated by a new-generation heat pump, energy-efficient, and mainly powered during the day by solar panels.


What is the depth of the pool?

The pool is 1m50 deep throughout, and has a staircase for getting into the water. It is 7m wide by 13m long.


Is the pool accessible to people from outside the campsite?

No. To preserve the peace and comfort of holidaymakers, and in accordance with regulations, access to the pool is exclusively reserved for people staying at the campsite.


Is swimming supervised?

No, there is no lifeguard at the campsite. Children must be under the supervision and responsibility of an adult.
