Accessible to all, young and old, athletes or not, hiking is one of the best ways to discover the treasures of Puy de Dôme! The Volcano Camping is particularly well-located for all hikers:

You can therefore leave directly from the campsite for a large number of hikes, a real luxury not to have to take the car! Ask us for advice at the reception.
Many puys are accessible on foot from the campsite for outings of 45 minutes to a full day: puy de Combegrasse, puy de la Rodde, puy de Vichatel, puy de la Vache, puy de l'Enfer... For lake enthusiasts, it is also possible to reach them on foot or by mountain bike: Lac d'Aydat, Lac de Servière, Lac du Guéry...

While waiting to be at the campsite, you can already consult our hiking selections on the campsite blog. There are already several dozen, some are departing from the campsite and the furthest are at most 30 minutes by car.
For families, we offer hiking selections accessible from 3 years, 6 years, 8 years... to allow everyone to walk at their own pace and according to the abilities of children!
Our campsite is a member of the Puy-de-Dôme Departmental Hiking Committee . A great way to support the actions of its members who maintain the paths and signage throughout the year for the greatest pleasure of all hikers!
