Sleeping at the foot of the volcanoes
The Auvergne Volcanoes Park was été formed by volcanic éruptions 95,000 years ago. The campsite is at the cœur of this site, the first volcanoes are accessible à on foot from the campsite. Don't éhesitate to walk at the cœur of the volcanoes!
To the north, the Chaîne des Puys with the iconic Puy de Dôme which from the top of its 1464 mètres dominates the chaîne whose Puy de Pariou with its superb cratère, but also its neighbours such as Puy Chopine, Puy des Gouttes, Puys de Jume and Coquille.
A preserved nature, UNESCO listed
Two cratères must-see, the Puys de la Vache and Lassolas , dormant since 8000 years ( accessible à foot from the campsite on a day ). And just at the foot of the campsite, the beautiful Puy de Combegrasse which allows to have a superb view over a large part of the Chaîne des Puys and the Monts Dore! Since 2025 the Puy de la Rodde has been equipped for a randonnée in the woods departing from the campsite with beautiful panoramas as a bonus.

In the centre, the Monts Dore with the highest peak: The Puy de Sancy. Splendid natural réserves such as the Réserve de Chaudefour and the Réserve de Chastreix , are also worth the détour à less than 25 minutes from the camping !

Between volcanic peaks, lakes, and forests
Our small campsite in the Puy-de-Dôme is surrounded by volcanoes, but also many lakes : Lake Aydat is accessible à foot à 3.5km (swimming and sailing), Lake Servières, Lake Guéry or Lake Chambon are all à less than 15 minutes by car.
During your walks around the campsite you will also enjoy beautiful forêts (particulièrement appréciée on hot days!), wetlands with a remarkable biodiversité étonnante, and waterfalls refreshing... or even very beautiful villages and châteaux médiévaux !
Clermont-Ferrand and major nearby sites
You will also be able to enjoy your séjour to visit the Auvergne capital. Clermont-Ferrand is à 20 minutes by car from the campsite. Many other sites are also à less than 25 minutes by car for cultural and éducatives : Vulcania, the Lemptégy Volcano, the Grotto of the Pierre de Volvic...

Hiking from the campsite
The possibilities of hikes around the campsite are almost infinite between lakes, volcanoes, waterfalls, peaks... There is something for every taste and especially all levels, from 3 years old! Several hikes start from the campsite, some of which offer among the most beautiful panoramas of the region (the Puy de Combegrasse has become a must-see!)
You will find many idées of randonnées on our blog, we have testées them for you! Don't hésite à ask us for advice during your séjour. We have day randonnées à the journée, des randonnées à from 3 years old, des randonnées à from 6 years old...
Mountain biking, trail running, cycling
Athletes se régalent in the volcanoes! Many mountain bike trails balisés are at départ of the campsite with loops for all levels (4km, 10km, 27km...). The roads of the Puy de Dôme are also réputées for cyclists with beautiful passes (col de la Croix Morand, col de Guéry, col de la Croix Saint-Robert...) and well-maintained roads. We have sélectionné des road cycling routes at départ of the campsite.
Do you want to make the most of your holidays to run? Set off from the campsite on the paths between our volcanoes. On our blog you will find suggestions of trail and running circuits adaptés to trail runners expérimentés but also to more occasional joggers.
Swimming and water activities
For enthusiasts of swimming and water activities, the campsite is located at 3.5km from Lake Aydat, accessible on foot in 40 minutes or by car in 5 minutes. Lake Aydat has a large beach with supervised swimming in summer, a sailing school with the possibility to rent a pedal boat, paddle, canoe...
Other water activities are possible around the campsite, such as canyoning or kayaking.
Nature activities for young and old
The whole family will find activities adapted to its expectations or to the different ages: tree climbing, via ferrata, giant zip lines, climbing, summer sled, paragliding... The possibilities offered around the campsite are numerous and adapted to all weather conditions with activities to do when it rains. Those who love high‑adrenaline activities will be served, as well as lovers of visits and cultural discoveries.

Camping pitches are spacious, ombragés or not, and offer a view of the surrounding volcanoes. We also offer mobile home rentals and d'hébergements insolites for fully comfortable holidays or more original ones.

Lors de votre séjour au camping, vous trouverez des services utiles : wifi gratuit, dépôt de pain, piscine chauffée (de juin à septembre), bar, restauration (juillet-août)... Une laverie (machine à laver et sèche linge) est également à votre disposition dans le bloc sanitaire, ou encore des barbecues collectifs et casier de recharge pour téléphone portable.

They will find a playground, an indoor playroom, a foosball table, ping-pong tables, board games... so that the whole family can make the most of their Auvergne holidays!
The secure setting of our small family campsite makes it an ideal place for their independence on holiday.

Calm, nature and disconnection are appreciated within our campsite. We wanted to make it an ideal place for a rejuvenating stay among hikes, relaxation, pool and visits! Not to forget the discovery of the Auvergne gastronomy and its many cheeses.

Our campsite in the Puy-de-Dôme is idéalement located along the GR 4 and GR 441, and a short distance from the GR 30, but also from the GTMC (Grande traversée of the central massif by MTB). Our pitches, accommodations and services are pensés to meet the needs of your itinerant holidays: specific rates, useful services (laundry, phone charging, restaurant and grocery...), bike repair equipment... We can also advise you to organiser au mieux votre séjour itinérant.
