Auvergne is one of the French regions with the most waterfalls! 900 waterfalls have been listed in the Puy de Dôme alone! Here are some of them around the campsite:
  • Chiloza waterfalls in Besse (25min from the campsite)
  • The Grande Cascade du Mont-Dore (30min from the campsite), one of the highest in Auvergne at 30m
  • The Rossignolet and Queureuilh near Mont-Dore (25min from the campsite)
  • Guéry waterfall (15 minutes from the campsite)
  • Quayre waterfall , in Vic-le-Comte (30min from the campsite)
  • Saillant waterfall, near Saint-Nectaire (20 minutes from the campsite), accessible directly by car.
To approach these beautiful waterfalls you will discover pleasant family walks in the undergrowth, especially during hot summer days. Enjoy the Monne gorges (departure from Olloix, 15 minutes from the campsite) or the Enval gorges (30 minutes from the campsite) , following a 5 km shaded path called APAGE which overlooks the waterfall. .

Here are some of these sources near the campsite, ideal for short family outings and discovering the bubbling waters:

- On the banks of the Allier, the sources of Saladis (Martres de Veyre) and the source of Sainte-Marguerite ,
- The Goyon fountain (Besse),
- The ferruginous spring of Sainte-Anne (Vallée de Chaudefour),
- The source of Croizat where you can take a short hot bath in waters close to 38°C (Mont-Dore)!
