L'Auvergne is l'une of the régions françaises possédant the most waterfalls ! 900 cascades have été répertoriées only in the Puy de Dôme ! Here are some around the campsite :
- Chiloza Waterfalls à Besse (25min of the campsite)
- The Great Waterfall of Mont-Dore (30min of the campsite), l'une of the highest d'Auvergne of the height of its 30m
- The waterfall of Rossignolet and the Queureuilh à proximité of Mont-Dore (25min of the campsite)
- Guéry Waterfall (15 minutes from the campsite)
- Quayre Waterfall, à Vic-le-Comte (30min of the campsite)
- Saillant Waterfall, near Saint-Nectaire (20 min from the campsite), accessible directly by car.
To approach these beautiful waterfalls you will discover family-friendly and pleasant walks in the woods, especially during the hot summer days. Enjoy thus the
gorges of the Monne
(departure from Olloix, 15min from the campsite)) or also the
gorges of Enval (30min from the campsite), following a shaded 5 km trail called the APAGE which overlooks the waterfall...

(Martres de Veyre) et la source de Sainte-Marguerite,
- The Goyon fountain
(Besse),
- La source ferrugineuse de Sainte-Anne
(Vallée de Chaudefour),
- La source de Croizat
où on peut prendre un petit bain chaud dans des eaux proches de 38°C (Mont-Dore) !
