Mountain bike routes and trails from the campsite
Mountain bike or road bike enthusiasts? You can set off directly from the campsite for your bike rides, even with children!
It isn't a coincidence that the Tour de France regularly passes near the campsite (recently in 2020 and 2023): the hilly or steep roads of the chain of volcanoes and the Monts Dore are a real treat for all cyclists, whatever their level. Here is the adventure and the discovery, many treasures await you around a turn!
If you prefer to follow itineraries, many loop proposals are available online, such as the Dômes Mountains Circuit from Aydat. Several cols are accessible from the campsite: Col de la Croix St-Robert, Col de la Croix Morand or also Col de Guéry on the Sancy massif side, Col de la Moreno or Col de Ceyssat on the Puys chain side.
For mountain bikers , the paths of the région will delight you! Several MTB loops marked run along the campsite . You will find the details on these marked MTB circuits on the campsite blog . Many other MTB circuits are available online around d'Aydat or another loop linking lake d'Aydat and the Puy de la vache .

Repair, inflation, and tools for your bike and mountain bike
A flat tire? A mechanical problem? We may be able to help you or lend you what you need. The campsite is equipped with basic tools for bike maintenance, patches, pumps...
If the problem is more serious, we can direct you to our partner La Roue Verte which can provide some repairs.
MTB Rental
It is possible to rent mountain bikes à 3km from the campsite. The Green Wheel offers mountain bikes with or without assistance électric, as well as l'équipement for family outings : carrier bébé, bike trailer, children's mountain bike...
They will also be happy to advise you on suitable circuits.
