Mountain bike routes and trails from the campsite 

Mountain biking or road cycling enthusiasts? You can leave directly from the campsite for your bike outings, even with children!

It's no coincidence that the Tour de France regularly passes near the campsite (recently in 2020 and 2023): the winding or steep roads of the volcanic chain and the Monts Dore are a real treat for all cyclists, whatever their level. Adventure and discovery await you, with many treasures around the next bend!

If you prefer to follow routes, many loop suggestions are available online, such as the Monts Dômes Circuit from Aydat. Several passes are accessible from the campsite: Croix St-Robert pass, Croix Morand pass or Guéry pass on the Sancy massif side, La Moreno pass or Ceyssat pass on the Puys chain side.

For mountain bikers , the paths in the region will delight you! Several marked mountain bike trails run along the campsite . You will find details on these marked mountain bike trails on the campsite blog . Many other mountain bike trails are available online around Aydat or another loop connecting the lake of Aydat and the Puy de la Vache .

Repair, inflation, and tools for your bike and mountain bike

A punctured tire? A mechanical problem? We may be able to help you or lend you what you need. The campsite is equipped with basic tools for bike maintenance

If the problem is more serious, we can direct you to our partner La Roue Verte who can provide some repairs.

MTB Rental

It is possible to rent MTBs 3km from the campsite. La Roue Verte offers MTBs with or without electric assistance, as well as equipment for family outings : baby seat, bike trailer, child MTB...

They will also be happy to advise you on suitable circuits.
