Mountain bike routes and paths from the campsite 

Mountain bike or road bike enthusiasts? You can leave directly from the campsite for your bike outings , even with children!

It is no coincidence that the Tour de France regularly passes near the campsite (recently in 2020 and 2023): the hilly or steep roads of the chain of volcanoes and the Monts Dore are a real treat for all cyclists, whatever or their level. Adventure and discovery are yours, many treasures await you around a bend!

If you prefer to follow itineraries, there are many loop suggestions available online, such as the Monts Dômes Circuit from Aydat. Several passes are accessible from the campsite: Col de la Croix St-Robert, Col de la Croix Morand or Col de Guéry on the Sancy massif side, Col de la Moreno or Col de Ceyssat on the Puys chain side.

For mountain bikers , the region's paths will delight you! Several marked mountain bike loops run alongside the campsite . You will find details of these marked mountain bike trails on the campsite blog . Many other mountain bike trails are available online around Aydat or another loop connecting Lake Aydat and Puy de la Vache .

Troubleshooting, inflation and tools for your bike and mountain bike

A punctured wheel? A mechanical problem? We may be able to help you or lend you what you need. The campsite is equipped with the basic tools for the maintenance of bicycles , patches, pumps...

If the problem is more serious, we can refer you to our partner La Roue Verte who can provide some repairs.

Mountain bike rental

It is possible to rent mountain bikes 3km from the campsite. La Roue Verte offers mountain bikes with or without electric assistance , as well as equipment for family trips : baby carriers, bicycle pulls, children's mountain bikes...

He will also be of good advice to propose you adapted circuits.
