ADEME and France Relance support camping in its eco-responsible approach

Since the campsite reopened in 2020, many actions in favor of more sustainable tourism have been put in place: composting, rainwater harvesting for watering, local products at the snack bar, LPO refuge… The campsite has also been a member of La Via Natura since 2021, a network of small eco-responsible campsites.

With the support of ADEME and France Relance, the objective is to continue this approach by going even further with actions to save water and electricity, reduce waste, and use local products…

Actions supported by ADEME and France Relance:

- Training in sustainable cooking and eco-friendly practices in the restaurant industry,

- Reduction of non-food waste at the snack bar,

- purchase of blankets for the snack bar's terrace,

- Installation of a dishwasher to reduce water consumption,

- purchase of "slate" panels

- Installation of timed and flow-limited mixer taps in the campsite's sanitary facilities

- Purchase of containers (bags or bins) for each camper to encourage recycling and composting,

- Installation of bright LED lighting.

The objectives of these actions for the campsite are:

- to limit its energy and water consumption,

- improve its practices and supply chain for the catering side of the business,

- limit the production of food and non-food waste,

- to better communicate about its actions in favor of sustainable development.
