4 road bike circuits around the campsite

The Puy de Dôme roads are conducive to beautiful bike outings, whether in sports or tourist discovery mode. We offer 3 circuits from the campsite (+ a bonus circuit) with degrees of various difficulties but always very beautiful views on the road.
Circuit 1: Monne gorges - Murol - Col de la Croix Morand and Col de Guéry
(77 km). Without doubt the most beautiful loop offered but also the sportier with 1305 m of D+. The circuit will make you avoid most major axes but you will benefit from the most beautiful views of the sector with the Bonus Lake Guéry, the Roches Tuillières and Sanadoire, the Château de Murol ...
Circuit 2: Gorges de la Monne - St -Nectaire heights - Lac d'Aydat (52km). A bicycle circuit that will make you alternate the very different landscapes by almost taking small quiet country roads. You will still have 850m of D+ to climb but on a fairly hilly and fairly accessible course.
Route 3: Gorges de la Monne - Heights of St-Nectaire - Vernines
(48km). A beautiful loop similar to route 2 but bypassing Lake Aydat. Slightly shorter, this loop also offers a little less elevation gain (767m D+) and features only quiet country roads with beautiful views along the way.
Bonus circuit: Dômes Loop
(36km + 4km from the campsite). A marked loop that we join in Aydat, which then takes us near Lake Aydat and then to the beautiful village of Saint-Saturnin and the Monne Gorges. Apart from a section on the departmental road, you will mainly take quiet little roads.

This campsite is ideal for visiting Clermont-Ferrand. You'll be in the centre of Clermont-Ferrand in 25 minutes by car from the campsite.
